I get this. I like the thumb sucking reference, it's said children do that because they miss their absent mom. It's interesting you mention a father and no mother in this. I had a bedroom I used to lock myself into when I was a dinky kid that had big windows and I would gaze at the moon. It was a constant in an inconsistant life.I still crave that room my secure hovel. good work. it's touching.
