Her Eyes Poem by D A Phinney

Her Eyes

The darkness lay
Upon her face
When I found her
On the sand
Her guilt
That she swam in the sea
It was the wrong time
The wrong place
Done in by its
Innocent hand
I wept
Salt tears her eyes might see
