Man is helpless but his trust in God can bring him to be helpful for others.
Wonderfully described the one the whole world is searching since times immemorial BUT HE IS HE GREAT POETRY SIR AKHTAR JAWAD
Even if He cannot be defined and cannot be seen, He exists for us. And when things seem so chaotic and hopeless that we find ourselves helpless, He is there and gives hope in the deepest parts of us. Magnificent poem on God, beautifully crafted and well executed, as always.10
Very profound work, Akhtar. What this reminds me of is the reality that people often despair and come to view themselves as 'useless' when they turn their thoughts inward. We may be vital members of a community, but such thoughts can rob us of that awareness. Looking outside oneself, then....Great work, Akhtar.
On second reading I got a little more clarity! The moment he became He with a capital H, you found the savior who could help you while all the others turned helpless! Yes, He is beyond all definitions and beyond our grasp, but sure He exists and all help comes from Him!
Even God cannot reverse our aging! That way God is helpless, but He is the only one from whom we can expect some sure help! A very logical assumption expressed beautifully!
God is helpful and man is helpless, we need a trust that God will help us.
Like all of your poems, this is a wisely penned write about the differences between helpless and helpful. To me we must learn not to be helpless and be helpful for ourselves. It doesn't come from anyone else but ourselves! Thank you for sharing!
Nice poem using beautifully the contrast between helpless and helpful.
a wonderful poem of realisation of what we are? .............well written Akhtar
