Help Me, I Am Depressed Poem by Kenneth Maswabi

Help Me, I Am Depressed

A huge chunk of sadness
Stuck in my heart
Choking my happiness
Erasing my dreams

My day is turned into night
As I sleep inside my stupor
My heart enveloped by darkness
My spirit oozing away

My night is turned into madness
My thoughts jumping around
My mind scattered
My life in ruins

Help me
Break out of this prison
Help me
Find myself once again
Help me
See the sunshine
Help me
Find my happiness
Help me
Before I am lost forever

Painful write on depression. what I feel the best way is to write everyday. Keep writing on paper what ever you feel. Medications can too help as well as the counselling.

I am glad you even write this here, the thing is depression is not a joke and its not simple thing but it really matters that depression always misunderstood. For you i wish the best recovery though it wont be persistent time to time, but be content and try to find your vision again, a direction, hope u will be well and if it getting bad just meet someone u trust most to share, of if needed meet expert, and remember your life matters!
