Hello Justice Poem by Kingsley Egbukole

Hello Justice

Hello, Justice
Some truth you know
But would not want to hear
As the sore of injustice
Turns abscess

Cast off your blind of deceit
Hide not behind the fold
For you have four eyes
Sharper than the microscope lens
Which sees the minute details
Of wealth and prosperity
Classified in status revered
And then nobodies

Your sword is double edged and differ
The sharp end for nobodies
Just a cut
The blunt for untouchables
When wealth bends the law
Your scale tilted to imbalance
The disequilibrium of justice

Bring down your raised sword of favouritism
Untie the blind fold of discrimination
Lower the bias scale of imbalance
Casting all into furnace of disgrace
When red hot
Molten soft and malleable
Toil with great zeal and will
And conscientious conscience above all
To re-mode contoured imbalanced justice
To fair and smooth equilibrium
Cooled and solidified
For societal everlasting peace.
