Nice rhyme scheme, just don't focus so much on rhyming and more on the overall idea of the poem.

wonderful visual, extended metaphor: Should we roam into this New Year? To taste more bloodshed and sizzling tear Or to embrace the blue horizon Without pain, sorrow or burden Excellent metaphorical poem belonging to symbolism, lovely to read 10++++++++++++

How can you reason with suicide bombers? They will lead us over the abyss. Are they mistaking darkness for light? Peace to the world We need to say it with one voice. Gave you a 10 but it does'nt seem to register. Happy New Year!

Sulaiman, you touched on so many of the issues that have drawn this current world we live in, into a much smaller and fragile planet. My heart breaks for the children and innocent families in harms way. I pray for the end of fanatisism and the return to the true peace that all great prophets really meant to convey, before the ego, hatred and bitterness became the core muse for those who have felt the sting of loss and war. Hatred begets hatred, love begets love. I too wish for all peoples to have a spark from heaven and not from a book, doctrine or self proclaimed prophet to become beset upon the hearts of all men and women from all walks of life. And in this spark from heaven God almighty and ubiquitous, shall lay his hand on the hearts of all walks of humanity so that we can no longer merely dream of peace, or fight for peace, or daily pray for peace, For like a dove ascending upon the crown of all humanity we become love incarnate according to our own understanding and heritage. And we shall then all KNOW peace and all swords shall dropp and all manner of mankind shall bow their knees in tears not of sorrow but of overwhelming praise and assurance. God truley is love and love speaks not the language of indifference but of unity and acts of kindness. This is my dream and prayer for 2010 and beyond. Thanks for your kindling spirit Sulaiman, and may we all one day become one and pray together as one and love as one. Happy New Year J.C.
