Hellhounds Abound Poem by Daniel Miltz

Hellhounds Abound

Fiendish existences
At the bleeding edge
Of my contemplations
In a midnight inestimable
My energy the spiritualist
By the grave secretive
Spirits are an influence
In a green landscape, overstay
Encompassed by strains of haziness
My spirit became unconventional
Addressing light mindfulness
I saw the distressed
A breezy, spooky delicate
In a kingdom brimming
With ghostlike, unpleasant
Covered in mys·ter·y
