In the last few days, a friend and I have been discussing, our evil times and " the end of the world as we know it" It is uncanny and so mysterious that you expressed the same thoughts! and felt so clearly what was being said in this poem. On a more poetic tone, loved your phrase 'sets the scene and lights the fire" .

Wonderful poem. Sets the scene and lights the fire. We see dancing on the graves of the righteous. Actually, in my mind's eye the end of the world as we know it.
