Mother - everything what she should be
sincere, warm and understanding;
as a mother - everything she did what she had to do
caring, protective and supportive in her own ways;
a true mother- gives birth, works hard,
educates her children;
when her children become great leaders
she expects nothing in return
only hopes her love and sacrifice is not forgotten.
On his birthday
she waits for him, for his respect,
she waits to give him more blessings;
and as he comes, her heart fills with joy,
he tells her - "Mother, I am the fruit
of your expectations, of your toil,
you wanted to educate me
but today I am serving my country,
the world knows me
but I am still your child,
I began my journey with you;
I went so far ahead in life
yet you waited as my courage
as my strength, silently;
understanding each other
loving each other, silently
just like I loved you and you loved me
when I was in your womb".

A fine and lofty verse written with clarity of thought and mind. A beautiful tribute from the heart.
