Liked the phrase, like wounded cobras'. A wonderful short work dear poet Lemon
Wounded Cobras are dangerous. They are out for revenge. A powerful Senryu with a strong message........A full score 10
i'll put this in May 2019's showcase. Thanks. bri :) and i'll include this 'note': " What does it mean to be called a heel? " contemptible person, " 1914 in U.S. underworld slang, originally " incompetent or worthless criminal, " perhaps from a sense of " person in the lowest position" and thus from heel "
The way of presentation is fantastic. Really people with morals writhe are like wounded cobras. Beautiful poem.
A strong and bold poem, i mean look at the first line, it such a huge statement and core meaning in the middle, tell directly to the face, sharp ending finished by great warning! this is brilliant!
Thank you so much, Soul. I think I did intend for this piece to have some fairly sharp, jagged edges. Thanks again.
The lowest of the low comes to mind. The wounded cobra image is interesting for those that have been wounded can be deadly in their morals and actions.10
Thank you so much, Simone. Yes, those are the cobras that design revenge, and give up on justice.
I like how you did this piece.... very sneaky snake... the image is powerful and memorable. Well done, my friend. 10 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Thank you so much, Susan. I hoped the cobra would give someone a jolt.
A very insightful write. Well-conceived and creative piece.
The people maintained at the bottom of the ladder will always live in uneasiness. As a result, their 'morals writhe like wounded cobras' with a venomous tongue.
