My guardian angel invited me to heaven
I followed him as he raced on his cloud
My own cloud was in gear eleven
It went super-fast, no doubt
We arrived high and far away soon
And he showed the very special room
Where all heavenly poems were kept
With rhymes and grammar so perfect
Verses about love and unimaginable harmony
Some about nature, beauty and sweet honey
Some written with amazing metaphors in it
Others written with a stroke of wit
I begged the guardian of the room on duty
To let me remember of some that amazing beauty
When I would return back to my place on earth
That would be for all my friends of superb worth
He wished he could me grant me this
He radiated so much kindness and bliss
And give some very valuable advice
To write poems on earth, that were nice
The best way to go, is to set aside
All negative feelings and worry inside
Try to tune with that huge intelligence
That sits in our Creator's eternal presence.
Now I sit here in my room and try to connect.
my verses are surely still far from perfect
But I feel that the visit to heaven has helped me
to instill in my verses, some beauty and harmony.
