Rating: 5.0

Her heart sang
Once upon a day
..or 2 or 3..
Into feeling

Hearings of Nightingales
Singing to resounding
Love and joy
Separate, in chorus
Preening...
Although, ..lonely

Loneliness.
..of a man
Compromises in life
Silence lovebirds

No more doves cry
Singing has subdued
Unheard coos
Subside two heartsongs
To an abrupt stop.

Intoxicatingly sleepy
Where for art thou? ? ?
My God? ...
Where for art thou,
My One true love?

If not the truest in purity
Understandably...
Formed man of art
We sing for thee

Why do I live? ...She?
For emptiness fills her heart

She waits!
No friggin compromises
Intangibly bereaved
Looks like love has run...

Away or run it's course?
Not sure, still believe
On You!
Then also,
In "some" Promises
Wouldn't you say
Most of you, anyway,

She has to stay
This time to find out.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Her odds, stay single for the rest of her life or marry for money or comforts instead of Love.
Nuh, Never! ! ! ...a cold filled the air today
No tenderness, the snow softened the cold blow.
All thrown to the Wind!
