Heartfelt Words
I cannot believe the joy that I feel,
When writing a poem,
I really believe,
That expression of mind,
Is one of a kind,
It makes me feel good,
To be understood.
Writing's my joy,
It helps me each day,
And I wouldn't want it,
Any other way.
I'm not looking for stardom,
The enjoyment's for me,
Straight from the heart,
Is the best it can be.
