I might be wrong, but knowledge is simple to gain since following the pattern of logical thinking is involved, whereas love tends to be very complicated and takes over logic in every way...
If you are using personifications to compare somebody who graduates from university to 'the king of knowledge' and somebody who loves to an ignorant fool, ‘simple and unlearned’, then perhaps you are right- in some countries people just pray then go to universities and all the knowledge they grow in their little, blue brains can’t be compared with the sparkling potential well cultivated in Celtic caves, for example...
