We have to learn how to live well even when our emotions don't help us out! 5*****

I made a revisit today. Happy that I have. " your procrastination // Causes a break in my exultation" what a beauty!

Loved this beautiful poem, on life, its vagaries, its gifts, its take-aways…

Happiness is- o the golden deer o the hen of golden egg laid o the white elephant so cost; so dot dot dot of breath in this hand it is easily touched but no more abruptly! ! ! ! Happiness is the mind condition on basis of theory of relativity! great 10+++++

Hi Mamutty, make a friend of your mind and never let it rule your heart. That's my tip to be stronger despite what happens and your logical calculations. :)

A wonderful poem. The words are so true to life's ideology about what happiness stands for. One day you're up and on another day you're down. It's learning to accept the two when they choose to visit? ? ?

All to relatable, there are many times in a day I feel like this. So much of what you write here, is so tantamount to the human condition. Its alright to be sad, and gloom, we all have to rain, or else we'll never grow. Congrats on poem of the day well deserved.

A poem is its own reason for being but when someone sees the same vision, feels the same, I am inspired to write more to discover more of me in others, or a difference which stupefies. :)

A very nicely written piece regarding a topic that commands much of our effort in life, the pursuit of happiness. I couldn't agree mor with the perspective and message of the poem. The construction is capably accomplished; in my opinion your first stanza is your best poetic construct; even though the first two lines are fairly ordinary expressions, you capture the reader with the unexpected detour of the second two lines. I also enjoyed the jarring imagery of the final two lines. When approaching universal subjects such as love, or, in this case, happiness, the poet is well-served to avoid any commonalities of expression, otherwise the reader is lulled into skimming distractedly through the lines. When addressing such themes, we must utilize the unexpected, the graphically striking imagery, the sensory-jarring metaphors and phonetic combinations to captivate the reader. We can never rely on rhyme or meter to absolve us of the need to enrapture our audience with the richness of imagery inherent in the potential of every word we choose. Sorry, for the lecture, but I love the exposure of poetry new to my experience, and this is a very nice piece for consideration. All the best, S

Life is made up of short moments of joy and despair. Your poem is very expressive about how small things matter. Understanding is certainly first step in creating harmony. Before be expect it from somebody else we have to create and overcome our own divisive and shattered heart and mind. This is the unspoken message the poem took me to. Congratulations on your member poem selection for this worthy poem.

Happiness is fleeting. And you've done a great job illustrating this in your poem. However, based on some feedback that you're getting, and your response, it appears that you are almost selling your soul. And nothing (no one) is worth that price. That being said, it's a great poem. Congratulations on Poem Of The Day! !
