This is a very inspirational poem, it shows that with acknowledging the presence of God in our lives, ourlives run smooth, when we choose to walk away from him, our lives take a turn in the wrong direction. Inviting the Lord into your life, having faith and trusting only in him gives great rewards and ones life will take a turn in the right direction. We will always have ups and downs, the norm of living here on earth but in our lowest point where we can no longer get up, the Lord will carry us. When we are weak, he will give us strength. When we are blind and no longer see, He will open our eyes. All we have to do as his children is have faith and trust only in him and not man. I guess God is love, whether you believe in him or not. As a non-theistic spiritual seeker, I understand the sentiment behind your words and the faith in yourself that you thought you had lost.
