A mood can be held by a whisper-so fragile and yet so enduring. A beautiful lyric write.Sad, but it is the sad songs that haunt us forever. 10/10. Warm wishes, Sandra

This multi-layered poem has a gothic opening that gives way to the tangible pain of loss. It has a real 'Wuthering Heights' feel about it that will haunt the reader long after the closing line. A admirable piece of writing. S :)

This poem is an absolute masterpiece. Powerful, sad and poignant, but what I liked most about it was the superb flow and beautiful balance. So add all that to perfect rhyme and meter, and it's going straight into my favourites. Great poem Steve 10+++++++++

Laurie, that was awesome. A remembrance of someone close now sleeping a cold and lonely sleep leaving her voice just whispering, beckoning to be heard. Top marks my friend and thanks for sharing this with us. All the best David

Oh Laurie, this is so beautiful and romantic and sad. Those solitary, midnight tears sting the worst of all.
