This poem affirms the largeness of your soul, dear Sandra! And includes as always your bright acknowledgment of all the other poets you always pull together into an immense circle. I never feel poetry is a futile gesture when I read your poems which summons us to be our highest selves. Responding to this call you throw out into the days and nights unifies us across the miles and hours. I was listening to the closing of Mahler's Symphony No.8 while doing this reading and commenting. It's nickname is Symphony of a Thousand - very appropriate, very true!
