Head On Poem by Ray Hansell

Head On

She said goodbye
She left no doubt
The light in my world
Just got turned out

She pulled the plug
But did it with grace
She said goodbye
Face to face

There was no letter
No cell phone call
She did it in person
No tears did fall

She could have taken
The easy way out
She didn't do it
That's not what she's about

She takes on issues
Always head on
Until they are solved
Or, completely gone
