অনেক কিছুর মাঝেই তিনি অস্তিত্বে অবিরত ছিলেন তিনি এখনও থাকতেন, যদি কিছু না হতো অদৃশ্য খেয়ালে ডুবে গেছি এ আমি আমার আমিত্বে কীইবা হতো এ 'আমি' না থাকলে উদ্বিগ্ন ভরা পাথেয় আর উদাসীন বোধ ছাড়া! আমার কি কোন ভয় হবে শিরোচ্ছেদ হওয়া নিয়ে? যদি না এটি শরীর থেকেও গুরুতর মাথাটা কেবল কোলেই বহন করা হতো যুগে যুগে 'গালিব' মারা গিয়েছিলো তবু স্মৃতি দীর্ঘ থেকে দীর্ঘতর হয় তাঁর পঙতিমালায় হয় প্রতিটি অনুষ্ঠান যদি এটি এইই ছিলো তবে কীইবা ঘটেছিলো! চট্টগ্রাম

It has been ages that 'Ghalib' died Yet the memories linger on His saying this on every occasion If it was 'like this' then what it would be! ......what a great poetic expression; wonderfully translated there was HE and there is and shall be but in the mind- like that grave of HIM ALIVE none sees age after ages utters HIS name and year after years carriers died yet HIS name ALIVE in that grave of MIND it's the MAHTAB where LOVE loves to stay under the DEATH of REMEMBERED ALIVE

To me Mirza sahib thougt in this particuler ghazal shows that he believes in God as his image is bit different in the mind of his readers.ferther this ghazal also shows that anysarrow or any problem in ur life is the side effect of ur presence on this planet.so if u dont need these problem than just goaway n leave only the memories of ur good work.
