He Was Not Alone Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

He Was Not Alone

He reached the land of the dead,
But he was not alone,
Many had gone there before,
The atmosphere was calm and quiet,
Everyone was silent there, absolutely silent,
It seemed strange and bizarre to him;
Still it was a blissful and pleasant place,
Everyone did his work silently,
He loved the place so much.
Long time elapsed,
Suddenly someone knocked at the door,
He woke up,
But there was none,
Only he heard someone laughing loudly for a while, 'ha ha! '
