He was born free a long time ago When his mind and body were young. He loved the village lanes And the busy market towns. I read them joyfully.

There he rode! With the muse of life; and, to respect nature. Nice work.

My computer was doing its ornery hop-skip-and-jumping around and landed on this page and this poem. Was it just happenstance? Just luck? I don't know but I am so thankful. This is a flow of poetry, a visit to another's mind, and a pondering of thoughts. So beautifully expressed. I will register a 10 on the scale below in an attempt to demonstrate how very excellent this poem is..

Than his body free to rove.............especially without punctuation or brackets, i had trouble at first understanding this line. if you had have in front of body i might have understood sooner. i score it a good to very good.
