He That Glorieth Poem by Gary James Smith

He That Glorieth

Rating: 5.0

He That Glorieth

He that glorieth
Let Him glory in the Lord
For Christ is our everything
Epitomized in His threefold office
As prophet...as priest...and as King
Hanging there in Crucifixion power
Then rising as our Resurrection
Providing for us an eternal hope
Beyond all human expectation

Behold the God-man Jesus Christ
The very Word becoming flesh
Offering Salvation to repentant sinner's
In the giving of His own flesh
Who took the death we could not take
Because we were unholy
And offered up a sinless sacrifice
Holy, holy, holy!

I glory in that revelation
Christ now liveth in me
And His Spirit constantly bears witness
That I'm set for eternity
What love of God in Jesus Christ
Beyond all imagination
Yet it's true! It's really true...
He's the Author of Salvation!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
