He Tasted Death That I Might Taste Life

He tasted death that I might taste life
Praise God for the Cross of Christ
He came on a mission to save my soul
And became sins Sacrifice
The Lamb of God...Hallelujah!
Now does our Shepherding
And leads us on our way to Glory
Great wonder that we shout and sing!

What a name is Jesus Christ
Who alone has power to save us
And every soul that trusts in Him
The grave has no power over us
My Resurrection and my Life
Hallelujah what a Saviour!
Who alone can give an eternal hope
Who once were slaves to sin here

Taste and see that the Lord is good
There's an open invitation
For whomsoever shall call upon the name of the Lord
Will enjoy His so great Salvation
The miracle of a new beginning
Can be yours when you're born again
What in the world are you waiting for? ! ! !
Come know Him today my friend! ! !

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
