I don't eat just fish
I can't even cook with just crayfish
I cook only with meat
And it only the food I eat
So he had said it.
But he could not afford
To buy the square upon which
His parents bedded and formed him
He begged for bugs infested one
Whose colour has turn black and brown
And smell stronger than sea of dead bodies.
I don't drink tap water
I drink only satchel water
If i go out i will buy bags of it
By weekend I will order from factories
It is not expensive
Why will I be drinking tap water?
He had said!
Though he is not in need of
A long spoon because he won't
Be dinning with the devil
Yet he had not even the short spoon
He had not even pot of clay
Let alone metal pot
Not even a rubber plate.
I can't stay in this place
Without television in place
And without air conditioner too
I will order now from jumia
He had said.
But he kept coming and coming
To borrow just salt and pepper
To borrow just maggi
This money enough to buy
all your wants only in words
Where go it to buy these
common things that are most needed?
