With the kissing promise of saving light
The key, they said, was in their mighty hands
Looking up with poignant eyes, I followed.

This is haunting, and it is beautiful. It has a ring of truth to it, which causes the reader to empathize with the poet. Extremely well done, whether fictional or not.

I personally do not see any advice in his case. Poor she had been a terrible victim of a huge hypocrisy. More I read it, more I feel sympathetic for her. Full marks to the poem.

The wordy tussle between make and female about personal matters are well exposed in this poem meant only for the couple to be careful about their way of living!

It seems too drawn out, and yet well worth another read. The standard of member poems have been raised.

So much counseling from a series of people in our life will more often than not break the receiver than make him. The personality that would emerge is what you have mentioned here: And guilt burned like acid through the core of my being. ......And I became numb to myself and the world around me after all.

I notice there is no previous comment so I'm the first. Well, here goes. This is a prose revelation of life not uncommon. The story might be written by millions. But this story was writen by only one. If its true, its a sign of success. If its not, its a sign of brilliance in her writing. Either way, its worth reading and remembering. GW62
