He Leads Me Poem by Panagiota Romios

He Leads Me

Rating: 5.0

He Leads Me

He leads me to calm waters
to be still.
Reminding me, He is Lord of the
Universe.
When all in the world seem bizarre
and frankly, quite soul ill,
His perfection shines in radiance,
Compared to my mediocre poetry dance.
He is sovereign and has dominion over all this earth,
Whilst we are negative and play
sorrowful dirths.
We forget to love Him with all our
strength and mind.
Then we become proud and terribly unkind.
We shall not be afraid to say
"This is my Lord."
We will let His words water us like
tender plants.
And be deaf to human rants.
You, oh God, create all things,
And for these reasons, let our
joyful hearts sing!

Beautifully said and more beautifully felt, lucky those who feel this way, A better path and view of life, the world and people they will Certainly have, and sweetly and humanly, preciously convey. Thank you for this moving and admirable piece.

Sandra, it's much easier to go though life with joy. Bitterness, cursing, hate hurt the writer and the reader. Sad to see cursing allowed in titles here! Hope a poet reports this. Panagiota thanks you.
