Does he carry a gun because he is brave
Or maybe because someone's life he screams he might save,
Is that why he carry's a gun always at his side
So, everyone can see his patriotism and valor and pride.
Does he always keep a gun underneath his pillow
Also with extra boxes of ammo,
Does he enjoy the weapon underneath his head
Maybe instead of sleeping with a woman he enjoys sleeping with steel and lead.
Does he enjoy always keeping a gun always in his car
Wherever he travels either near or far,
Maybe he has it because of road rage on the street
Or maybe he has it because of scary strangers he might meet.
Does he always carry a gun inside in every store
Because he likes showing it off his toy as a child he did once before
Or does he think carrying a gun makes him a champion or a hero
I say, "No! ", with a big zero.
Does he always have a gun with him both day and night
Is it because he is a bully and he likes to pick and start a fight,
Or maybe the reason that he likes to carry a gun
He thinks it makes him look tough, in front of women.
Does he carry a gun because he doesn't have faith in God
And all of his faith relies on his loaded rod,
And does he have more faith and belief in a sword
Than he could or would ever have in Jesus Christ our Lord.
Why does he always carry a gun along with him
Is it because all that he sees and thinks is bedlam,
But, unto his soul this has been declared
He carry's a gun, because he is just plain scared.
