I guess this poem is a sad reflection of our country's farmers and their plight.. where rains have failed for many consecutive years and many are forced to the path of suicide..

Your poem started out so strong... but the third section fizzled. Maybe take it in a different direction.... Something about the Devil, or next year's bumper crop, or how you stripped the wire from the man's neck so you could fix your kitchen light.. Make me feel something.
