He, God Poem by james watkin

He, God

Holds your land, with an affidavit
Of scripture. A joint occupancy
With Him, under Mercy's compulsion.
A heritage, whose title is 'Son'.

Somewhat far off, but not as time
Is measured. To His peace, as of that
Of hymn's reconcilement being drawn.
To His light pulled in, as Love's dawn.
