You know Mary, you can melt down the gold for the new ring or perhaps use the pieces as charms on a charm bracelet. Maybe mismatched earrings.... or not. j.

Mary, I enjoyed this - well written, good flow. I think it's a reflection of his love that he wore it until it broke. Most men would have taken it off at the first sign of discomfort. avr
