He Arose I'll Arise Poem by Gary James Smith

He Arose I'll Arise

He Arose I'll Arise

He arose I'll arise
What a glorious homecoming then
Gathered with the saints in Heaven
With precious family and friends
Guess who will be the center piece
On that blessed domain
Praise God the Lord of Heaven and earth
The Lord Jesus Christ His name

The Founder of forgiveness
Whose blood can wash away
Every sin that we've ever commited
What a blessed Salvation day
Swift to bow the knee and praise Him
Whose wounds are still visible
A constant reminder of His amazing love
When our need was so full

Yes because He arose I shall arise
What a joyful hope within
To be enjoyed by every believer
Who've put their trust in Him
I can almost see the choir gathered
In preparation to sing this refrain
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!
Hallelujah for that name! ! !

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
