A powerful write Danny, I could sense the passion in this. She, the feminine principle, can never be denied.

Despised, violated, abhorred and adored She cautious leads the minds of man Cooks and cleans and suffers rows Nurses nightmares and fevered brows, Belligerence and his vengeful bent Keeper of days by lives long spent. Often, this is the plight of women... She needs to be better understood! Danny, through this poem, you have brought out the male -female relationship in all its erratic propensities! A great poem and this deserves a10

Loved this Danny. Intense and filled with woe is how I saw this. It made me think of Marian Faithful and her mother (and all the other women) when the invading armies took over the town they lived in ww1 they raped every women (apparently) and it affected them so deeply. The trials of the opposites is how I understood this piece. Thanks fella. Karen
