Having Read The Prophets Poem by james watkin

Having Read The Prophets

For the evil time to pass over
I wait; I watch; I wonder.
From whom, overtly flaunt the world's doom
Self-possessed keep to my room.

Shall appear the Judge, to the guilty
As a great adversary.
Above my roof I pray less to hear
Vengeful noise than rumblings mere.
