Have You Ever Noticed.... Comments

I love the witty line or maybe I watch slow! We should all perhaps watch slow several times a week, then we could see all the really small things we're missing. You don't add any special effects to this poem, but it gave me a chill as I read it and your prose comment amplified the sense of sheer peril. It's all the result of the size and angle of the window, the fact you were alone. etc. - all these seemingly harmless things accumulate into fear. It reminds me of an earlier poem about a hallway in your house which suddenly became menacing.

Seated in a cafeteria, by the side of a French window commanding a wider view, you saw a tall slender man walking in a black suit, reminding you of Slender man! Were it a figment of your imagination or real? May be a projection of a sense of insecurity... the thought that a creepy foe is chasing you! Any way a beautiful poem has evolved out of a casual sight, real or imaginary, Nika!
