Have Pity On Me Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

Have Pity On Me

Rating: 5.0

Bartimeus cried:
Jesus, have pity on me.

Jesus stopped and said:
'call him here'.

Get up, he is calling you.

So throwing off his cloak,
he jumped up and went to Jesus.

'What do you want me to do for you? '
Rabbuni, please, i want to see again.

'Go, your faith has saved you'.
Immediately his sight returned
and he followed him along the road.

Give me the faith of Bartimeus
my Lord and God,
the curer of the blind.
