'' Have A Mind Of Your Own '' Poem by Bri Mar

'' Have A Mind Of Your Own ''

Rating: 5.0

From birth until death,
There'll be many surprises,
Savour every breath,
As the next one rises.

Some seek to control,
Your everyday actions,
To get hold of your soul,
They'll sell you attractions.

Their promises of riches,
Can and will tempt,
The dividend bewitches,
None are exempt.

Believe in their gods,
They'll say let us pray,
Beware of the frauds,
Who demand that you pay.

Too good to be true?
Then it certainly is,
If it's not good for you,
Then don't play their quiz.

The world is filled,
With promises broken,
Some leave you chilled,
When evil is spoken.

Those who make rules,
Our lives they'll disrupt,
They're incompetent fools,
Who are truly corrupt.

To avoid any strife,
Do let it be known,
To enjoy a good life,

‘' Have A Mind Of Your Own ‘'
