Hate With A Hint Of Rage Poem by Brittany Marsh

Hate With A Hint Of Rage

I let the feeling of hate consume me
I drowned you from the inside out
I cut your throat and let it bleed
I slipped the noose and broke your neck
I slaughtered you and felt the warmth
Never believed I could feel this way
I let the rage take over me
So numb
So messy
Feeling you never felt this good
Letting my fingers run through your blood stained hair
Allowing myself to fall lower than the lowest
Your skin never looked so cold
Porcelain dolls couldn't compare to your beauty
A smile creeps along my face
You used to be so fragile
So delicate
I reach my destination
I take one last look at your blood stained face
I smile and kiss you one last time
Guilty blood taints my lips
As I lower you to your home below
A tear falls from my eye
The only thing that I could say
'Goodbye, my love. Goodbye.'
