Hate will eat at your own heart the perpetrator of the cause will have no worries...You have to just accept and rebuild a new tomorrow...perfect poem on this subject and the last line says it all. You make the reader think hard into the cause of helping mankind...regards

Hatred leads to anger and similar negative emotions and is more like an acid that corrodes the container in which it is kept! Love is the antidote to hatred! Great message, Lyn!

Excellent words (advice) given here, as hate will destroy you from the inside out. As wronged and as hurt that we may be, only time seems to soften the pain for me. But to know that there has been another lesson learnt, helps us to avoid once again getting burnt....If we have gained wisdom.
