No permanent good byes For who leave with wet eyes At the cross roads of a life new and just starting There will always be pleasure and pain of parting Well written and keep your pen busy.......

Hi Mary this good-bye poem is bittersweet. Are you graduating or is it the end of a term? In other words, are you leaving the school because you have finished your education or are leaving for a vacation and will return after? Your poem has a tone of finality to it, as if you won't be back. And the line that saying good bye means forgetting emphasizes the finality of graduation. But graduation ceremonies always look to the future, there is excitement because a new life is looming, you have to prepare yourself emotionally for what's to come. Your poem is a heart-felt and reluctant letting go - except I don't think you have let go! Let me know where you stand.

I can imagine how painful it is to part from the alma mater, the fun filled college days, the familiar surroundings and the sweet friends.... College days is a time that has no match with anyother time... A genuine and beautiful expression of a student leaving the campus.... Enjoyed! !
