Hasslefree form makes perfect sense Linda. It's about touching others with beauty, whether harsh, 'terrible', sublime or otherwise. The poetry isn't in the form as you so rightly say. It's in the much less quantifiable elements. Wise words.x jim
Great idea, Linda. You're absolutely right. I had a student (around 8) who was puzzled about 'creative (improvised) dance' When I explained that she could dance as she chose, her comment was 'Oh? hassle free poetry...easy to write easy to read easy to understand...just hang on to the first word and just ride through the poem...but structured and metered poems too are a joy to read and write...i enjoy both...love...nalini
You hit the point.This is wat poetry is all abt.His/Her emotions n feelings all expressed in a train of words.Only the poet and somebody who can relate to his feelings can enjoy the poem the most.Lovely poem. Ashish.
