Harold. Poem by Tom Allport

Harold.

Rating: 5.0

Harry Cato did not know
How to say...thank you
To any person
Till he went to Japan
On a holiday
Everywhere he went
He was given a smile
And a big welcome
He would smile back
Not knowing what to say
So he would just say
His name...Harry Cato
Which made him
Very popular in Japan.

this begs a Poet's Notes for me to understand, but my mate thinks it has to do with a Japanese word(s) for a cartoon character/design on many Japanese products sold for children, maybe some sort of cat. anyway, you? got a smile from them. good. bri (:
