Hardly A Private Sorrow Poem by james watkin

Hardly A Private Sorrow

Hardly a private sorrow
Hath shed its public tear!
There is no reticent joy!
Unabashed he'll appear

At that flash, has woken him
The sun of his days.
The song of his quality.
The storm of his ways.
