Indeed, it's hard to say goodbye. But such is life. You have beautifully captured the feeling of loss.

A great soul is figured here, a being who knows its limits and accepts them with generosity.

Saying goodbye is very hard and painful. Separation from own beloved one is definitely painful aspect. Starting from valley of forest floor to sky and galaxy this agony brings tears.
