Hard Cards: Poem by Chris Leermakers

Hard Cards:

Show me your winning hand
If you dare
Hard cards
Remember to be aware

I think you have the 4 kings or a maybe a dull house so ill tread carefully in the last round.

The river just turned and now I have the 4 Aces, not the dead man's hand. I'm sure he has the 4 kings as well as a jack.

Time to go all in. Everyone else has folded.
Pot is 3.69 million and soon I'll knock off his sunglasses and wipe him out.

So he calls just like I predicted.
He shows his 4 kings and Jack of spades.

I then show him my four Aces and the Queen of hearts.

He sees his mistake
Hard Cards
They are mine to take.
