Happy That She Is Gone Poem by Randy McClave

Happy That She Is Gone

I am glad that she is gone
I am glad that she had left,
No longer am I a pawn
And no longer do I bereft.
No longer am I used
Or think twice who she is with,
No longer have I truthfully accused
When I took another whiff.
No longer do I check her cell
Or her posts on her Facebook,
No longer do I scream or yell
For her being a liar a cheat and a crook.
No longer do I have to listen to her lies
Or ask her where she has been,
God, and time has made me wise
Now I always wear a grin.
My wallet is so much fatter
My life now is true and complete,
Truth, faith, belief is now on my platter
It replaces her broken promises and deceit.
No longer must I watch her drinking
Or must I inhale her continuous smoking
I was tired of her lying and her impure thinking
And watching or listening to her bullying or provoking.
I glad that she is no longer here
Through God and faith I did move on,
I now shed no more sadness or a lonely tear
I am so happy that she is gone.
