a nice tribute to teachers..........very interestingly and respectfully you've mentioned all your teachers.
After all those years of learning My mind still has an yearning To go back to those benches of school And on hot noons feel the window breeze cool Even as geography go on about camels and sands And the Maths teacher scratches out equations bland I would be lost in day dreams of distant lands Where faeries come and play with magic wands... (Good work Kavya - keep writing)
Beautiful poem Kavya. A good tribute to each teachers....Yes, each one of us have some opinions regarding our teachers...Lovely poem on Teachers Day.. Even I studied in convent school, even I liked our principal Sister, (Nun) . She used to teach us moral science and still I remember the English poem Lochinvar poem by Sir Walter Scott. The way she taught was superb. So enthusiastic we were to listen to her..I havent read that poem after that but my memory of that poem still fresh. I dont know where is she now..Even marathi was too tough for me, as I started learning this from 7th std only. But one teacher taught me so well that I took 75 and all wondered.Really teaching had a great impact on our lives..One Sister who used to teach english was very strict especially while reading chapters, she keeps on correcting till one reads properly, especially punctuations and style.Really am missing my school..But many teachers retired..
Goof one Akka! Its a great dedication to the persons who, literally built the individuality in us!
Nice tribute to all your memorable teachers. Teachers are only happy when students succeed and exceed them. Beautiful tribute. Thank you.
Wow Kavya. I hope your teachers get to read this. I like your work.
Kavya, like Chaucer's pilgrims, your teachers stand in vivid sketches! How quickly, by drawing inspiration from Dinesh, you have created a marvel of a poem! Of all, I think your Hindi teacher who spoke more of Marathi than Hindi is the most interesting! ! ,
@Dinesh Sir, i literally laughed on reading ur reply....Mine was a co-ed school and not an all girls school and we had male teachers as well but females outnumbered here too........but the fact is i had nothing particular to jot about them...the above ones whom i have made a mention of were the teachers whose lectures we had really njoied during our school curriculum and still reside in our memory....... thx again for ur views on dis........
Nice teaching is learning or learning is teaching Kavya nice tribute in best form
Kavya, you seem to have studied in an all girls school or all lady teachers school all throughout and you were never taught by one of my breed. Your memory is very sharp and and you have remembered all their names. Thanks Kavya for referring to my poem as the source of your inspiration. You are sincere and taken the subject quite judiciously. Thanks a lot for your greetings as well.
I loved this tribute, Kavya, to your loved and revered mentors.
I can’t believe
