Happy Old Man-Ευτυχής Γέρος Comments

This poem tells me about my father, recently widowed with the demise of my mom. Is he happy, do you think? Or would he rather join my mom? I don't know which could have been easier, that he had gone first before my mom. This poem assures me that it's fortunate for anyone to just to wake up every morning and still feel life. But for what?

Yes, he got another day to enjoy this life though painful. A truth so nicely described.

Inspite of body pains an oldman remains happy due to his meditation to God. This theme is nicely capsulized in tiny poem. Wise work. Thanks for sharing.
