Happy Moon Poem by fatemeh zolfagharian

Happy Moon

Rating: 5.0

I want to be the moon
the happy moon
that is pointed
by a scrumptious tiny finger
of a little naughty boy
when he unexpectedly
finds me above
when I'm watching
that cute pointed chin
moving up to the sky
and those shiny curious eyes
that are screening
all words
of his little word box
to find a puerile way to describe
Me, in the murk sky
then he says:
it is moon
stuck above!
It won't fall!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
One night, my little nephew found the moon and pointing it with his little finger, said: that's the moon, stuck above! It won't fall!

Beautiful poem! The innocence of children is painted most colourfully in the poem. Loved it. Top score, and Myfavourites.
