line 8: I'd ask 'how much gold? ' before I'd write THAT. ...... 'To face life's challenges with unyielding fire' Are we speaking of AK-47s?
I like, in 2nd line, 'the man you be'. I like that and all of your rhymes, and I HAVE heard people use 'be' instead of 'is/are' at times, but it MAY NOT BE 'proper' English. Who cares! ! ? : )
Are you speaking of your own father or in general terms to father OR to the alleged Big Boss allegedly in Heaven? Hmm? I thought I'd ask. No need to answer. ;)
Last word: IMBUE: 'imbue ĭm-byoo͞′ transitive verb To inspire or influence thoroughly; pervade' This is the 2nd time I think I've run across 'imbue' in a poem this week (not one of mine!) . I've had to look up the definition each time! : )
